Mauritius offers a flexible and protective Framework for Fund investors. The Protected Cell Company set-up (PCC) guarantees legal segregation of risks and of Assets/Liabilities held by different individuals or entities inside the same company.
Thus, each Fund/cell is independent from the others and its Assets cannot be used to cover expenses or Liabilities of another Cell. Finally, this setup allows in most of the cases to benefit from Double Tax Treaty.
